The Embassy of Sri Lanka organized a Sri Lanka Country promotion booth at the "Iteawon Global Village festival 2022" held from 15 th -16 th  October, 2022 in the Iteawon Special Tourism Zone in Seoul. This year’s festival theme was “Let’s Get together”, reflecting the international nature of the Itaewon area.  During the festival, Ceylon Tea and a variety of Sri Lankan handicraft items and jewelry by “Isle of Rataa” were promoted at the booth while Sri Lanka Tourism promotion brochures were distributed among the visitors.   The Itaewon Global Village Festival is one of the most internationally diverse celebrations held annually in the Republic of Korea (RoK) and attracts thousands of Koreans and expatriates living in the country.
